Mighty is excited to bring on a Copywriter to our growing Marketing team. As our copywriting subject matter expert, you will be responsible for defining the voice of the Mighty brand and ensuring its consistency across all of our content and channels. You will work cross functionally across our growth, product and marketing teams to identify and develop customized strategies and copy based on best practice standards, user research, and customer personas. You’ll turn marketing goals into strategic copy that increases engagement, awareness, and growth of our brand. As a copywriter, you are meticulous and excited by the opportunity to bring new, experimental ideas forward. This role can be based in New York, NY, San Francisco, CA, or be fully remote (US only).

What you’ll do:
Have independent ownership and strategic say over copywriting at Mighty
Write whitepapers and other collateral to bring in new leads
Improve copy across website, email, and sales collateral to drive better conversion metrics
Contribute campaign ideas that will help bring attention to new initiatives
Help define the voice of the Mighty brand across all channels
Engage and persuade our target audiences using website pages, landing pages, emails, and occasionally paid/social ads.

Have experience writing in a multitude of mediums
Are creative and collaborative

Are capable of adapting tone and style while maintaining a cohesive brand voice
Are attentive to details of every word, phrase, and punctuation mark
Are capable of strategic and high-level decision making
Nice to have:
A background in journalism
Understanding of and ability to include SEO keywords
