About the Role

While our approach to education is global, our students' life decisions are influenced by their local environment. Your job will be to fully own the Latin American (LatAm) market, helping establish Microverse as a leading player helping people start international careers, building trust with our audience, and driving our ambitious and fast-growing enrollment targets to provide access to a world-class education to more people every day.

As the LatAm Regional Manager, you will report to the Head of Marketing and work closely with the Marketing and Admission teams. You should have a strong entrepreneurial background, strategic consulting experience, or have worked launching products at a tech startup within our key markets (Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and Brazil). The ideal candidate will be a passionate, hands-on, strategic, entrepreneurial, and customer-centric professional who is ready to join a high-growth startup.


  • Complete ownership of the LatAm market for student acquisition for our full-time program
  • Define and evolve the local strategy for LatAm and each one of its countries
  • Ensure we meet our ambitious enrollment targets (in collaboration with the rest of the Marketing and Admissions teams)
  • Perform market research/analysis on all countries in LatAm
  • Establish our brand as a leader in the LatAm market
  • Build and nurture trust with our LatAm audience
  • Develop relationships with key partners (media, influencers, employers, universities, meetups, events, etc.)
  • Own the LatAm acquisition budget and optimize its allocation
  • Own all communication and product positioning in LatAm (English, Spanish, & Portuguese)
  • Build community, both locally and regionally
  • Perform localization for each of our key markets (e.g. localized landing pages, ads, etc)
  • Perform reporting on all key metrics for LatAm
  • Propose product changes to continuously grow and convert our target market

Experience & Skills Requirements

  • Must be based in Latin America
  • Native Spanish speaker, and proficient in English
  • Have previous strategic consulting or entrepreneurial experience
  • Demonstrate ability to switch from strategic thinking to tactical operations
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and proven operational excellence
  • Have previous experience launching new markets/products within LatAm
  • Excel as a manager of one; can set and execute your own goals with little direction
  • Have experience working in multiple Latin American countries
  • Have a strong understanding of the various marketing areas (content, social, PR, etc).
  • Demonstrate exceptional networking and people skills
  • Are data-driven and outcomes-oriented
  • Have the capacity to think analytically and outside the box
  • Demonstrate a strong customer-centric perspective

Salary Description

At Microverse, salaries are transparent and based on location and experience. The salary range for this role is $64,971.11 - $98,819.76. We used Bucaramanga and Panama City for the range benchmarks. Some example salaries for locations are below:

  • Medellin: $68,721.01-$73,302.41
  • Mexico City: $79,513.67 - $84,814.58
  • São Paulo: $75,452.14 - $80,482.28
  • Buenos Aires: $73,655.09 - $78,565.43

The equity compensation for this role is 0.107% - 0.173%

Core Working Hours

At Microverse, we strive to work asynchronously as much as possible in order to make global remote collaboration effective and efficient. However, we have core hours where every team member is expected to be available for meetings. Core hours at Microverse are 10:30 am to 12:30 pm Eastern Time, USA. If you live on the West Coast of North America or in East Africa/Europe, this will probably impact your daily schedule more than other team members.

Hiring Process
