Micromeritics is in search of a talented and experienced Video Producer to take our content to the next level! This individual will closely collaborate with the global Micromeritics marketing, engineering, applications, and service teams to create attention-grabbing images and videos that excite, explain and entertain within the company's corporate campaigns. An experienced candidate has a sharp eye for video production, photography, motion graphics and elevated aesthetics. Experience in deploying international campaigns targeted at the material characterization market is a strong plus.  

This individual will provide substantive editorial, technical and storytelling expertise to help ensure that Micromeritics' multimedia and video content is strategic, on-brand and of the highest quality.  

 

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create, direct and produce product videos that showcase the brand, customer training, new product introductions, application tips, video service guides, video demonstrations, and product animations.
  • Translate business and marketing objectives into photos and videos that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, and easy to understand- on-brand, high-quality and on time.
  • Explore and execute design and branding elements including but not limited to global advertising campaigns, social media, editorial, ecommerce, and other relevant design projects.
  • Produce videos start to finish: From pitching ideas, to managing production logistics, to shooting and directing specific pieces on-site, under strategic guidance from not only the marketing management, but other technical leaders from engineering, applications, and product management.
  • Produce a variety of work including both short and long-form video content used for digital platforms, advertising, commercial broadcast, websites, special events, internal and external training, and core campaigns.
  • Ensure high-quality concepts are brought to production, pitch ideas and work with internal teams to strengthen and generate video concepts to meet the needs and goals of larger campaigns and initiatives. Advise department on best use of mediums such as; 2d animation, 3d animation, video, stop-motion, animation, etc.
  • Navigate development, production, and post-production processes with internal teams across the organization. Ensuring stakeholders’ feedback is considered and approval processes are followed. Execute setup, recording and strike for on-site and location productions, organize and help manage production shoots, including talent management/acquisition, assist with studio operations and workflows, and maintain inventory of audio/video equipment.
  • Ensure brand consistency and ethical and legal guidelines are met throughout the production process (including casting, outreach, screen-testing and production).
  • Edit video and audio, and create animations using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Create, and maintain a media library for future productions.
  • Plan, shoot and deliver professional level product photography for digital use, brochures, trade shows, etc.
  • Create, produce and oversee all aspects of live virtual event productions through our webinar platform. Sets-up, checks, and runs all equipment to be used at the live event for both internal and external audiences.
  • Plan and produce all webinars with both internal and external speakers.
  • Compile analytics from webinars and evaluate performance based on the analytics.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 3+ years of filming, editing, producing and distributing digital content and sound in B2B environments.
  • Strong expertise in video + photo, motion design, and animation platforms (Premier, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
  • Experience with photo and video within a studio setting.
  • Knowledge of product lighting techniques, as well as experience in execution of on set lighting.
  • Experience working in non-linear editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Resolve).
  • Strong aesthetic skills and attention to visual details, with an excellent eye for typography, layout, and branding.
  • Skilled at editing raw video footage and add effects/elements (audio, video, colors, animation) to enhance motion graphics.
  • Knowledge of Visual FX requirements and capability around advising in an on-set, physical production capacity a plus.
  • Innovative/willingness to experiment with new concepts and approaches. Comes up with creative solutions to difficult problems.
  • Ability to self-manage and thrive in a fast-paced environment, oversee multiple projects, have attention to detail and work well with cross functional teams with demanding deadlines.
  • Iconography, illustration and 2d animation a plus.
  • Experience in Product Photography required.
  • Follow best practices for version control, naming conventions and organization of graphic files.
  • Ability to brainstorm and develop creative concepts that combine branding and commerce.
  • Experience with live production practices and webinar presentation.
  • Experience with reviewing advanced analytics.
