We are building a world class sales team and looking for a leader to drive sales strategy, and position Mic for success in the agency and advertising community. This position will report to our SVP of Sales.
Own positioning and communication of Mic to drive market leadership
Drive the creation of the right materials and programs
Develop and manage custom client programs
Produce big-opportunity RFP responses
Attend key client/agency meetings to better understand needs and challenges
Take ownership of systematically tracking feedback from the field and optimizing sales stories, programs, and materials accordingly to maximize success
Help define new ad products
8-10 years experience in digital advertising/marketing
Demonstrated ability to understand Mic’s editorial content and client needs and successfully merge the two to tell a clear, compelling story
Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills
Experience integrating primary and third party research to validate positioning
Ability to work across departments to influence and gather resources to support strategy and prioritize workload
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines and manage expectations of all stakeholders
Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and work as a team player
