As Ad Product Manager, you will streamline all process between our Sales and Ad Tech teams. You will be responsible for product documentation, tracking feedback, and running effective meetings with stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape and come with ideas on how to create new ad products and solutions. This role will report directly to our VP of Product & Engineering.
Break down ad products into actionable specification docs and users stories that can be understood company wide
Clearly communicate campaign objectives to design and engineering, from conceptualization through final delivery
Facilitate efficient sprint planning meetings with developers
Track internal and external feedback, sharing insights with key stakeholders
Respond to requests for more information, Q/A-ing, testing, etc.
Research competition to ensure we are best positioned to create high impact ad features
Establish process as needed to improve efficiency and productivity
Contribute new products and solutions to Mic’s advertising offerings
2-3 years of experience as a Product Associate/Manager, specifically within ad products
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Understanding of Mic’s products and mission
Expert organizational skills
Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize
Passion for digital news and media, and knowledge of the market
