This critical position is situated in our Talent Solutions division, where we've cultivated a robust partnership with a highly esteemed client. The NetSuite System Administrator role operates externally from our internal functions at Myers-Holum, focusing exclusively on addressing the dynamic requirements for our client's success with NetSuite and other integrations as they come into play. As a pivotal part of our Talent Solutions arm, our client is in search of a proactive and forward-thinking NetSuite System Administrator to join their leadership team. 

As a system admin, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting these applications. You will also provide level 2 user support, which involves resolving complex issues that cannot be handled by the level 1 help desk team. You will work closely with our developers, project managers, and customers to ensure that our applications meet the needs and expectations of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in NetSuite Implementations
  • Participate/Lead in Assessments
  • Prepare Technical Design Documents for Customizations
  • Conduct quarterly account reviews to identify customer satisfaction, process adherence, backlogs, quality of services provided, opportunities for improvement, etc
  • Provide technical and functional subject matter expertise to team
  • Install, configure, update, and monitor NetSuite business applications.
  • Perform backups, restores, migrations, and upgrades of application data and settings.
  • Ensure that the applications are secure, reliable, and compliant with industry standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the applications, such as performance, connectivity, compatibility, and functionality.
  • Provide level 2 user support, which involves answering questions, providing guidance, and solving problems that are escalated by the level 1 help desk team.
  • Document and communicate the solutions and root causes of the issues.
  • Collaborate with the developers, project managers, and internal team to provide feedback and suggestions for improving the applications and business processes.
  • Stay updated on the latest features, enhancements, and changes of the applications and the industry trends.

Your Background and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle NetSuite and at least 3 years of experience in system administration, with NetSuite business applications
  • Comprehensive understanding of landscape of web technologies and standards
  • Experience and knowledge of best practices surrounding ERP
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites and provide on-call support as needed.
  • Written communication, verbal communication, and mathematical skills.
