About the role:
We’re looking for a passionate, results-oriented, and experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join us in building the team here at Metromile. You should be comfortable partnering with hiring managers across various teams, working in a fast-paced, start-up environment and have a passion for hiring on quality while creating a positive candidate experience.
Lead our recruiting strategy and be a thought partner to our hiring teams.
Develop and manage full-cycle recruitment for a range of technical positions across various roles.
Partner closely and cross-functionally with hiring managers to: assess recruiting needs, and calibrate profiles.
Build pipelines of qualified, high-caliber candidates using creative and effective sourcing techniques.
Engage, contact, and manage candidate experience throughout recruitment process through close and pre-start.
Mentor less experienced members of the Recruiting Team.
Work with a strong sense of urgency, and fill the highest priority needs for the company.
5+ years of full cycle Technical recruiting experience
Full life cycle recruiting experience in-house (preferred)
Proven and successful track record of engaging, selling, recruiting, and hiring candidates
Experience sourcing high-performing, and high-caliber Engineers and various other tech roles
Incredibly organized, with superb attention to detail
An excellent verbal, written, over-the-phone and in person communicator.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
