Meter's mission and long term ambition
Meter builds better internet infrastructure. We make it exceptionally easy for any business to have great computer networking, internet, and Wi-Fi. Businesses of all sizes and industries increasingly rely on internet infrastructure for daily operations, yet getting connected today is incredibly difficult. To solve this problem, Meter builds and manages a vertically integrated solution across hardware, software, and operations. We believe people who build hardware and software should be the ones responsible for it. Our ambition is to evolve internet infrastructure into a utility.
This role is critical to Meter's success
Increasing the operational capacity and throughput for the end-to-end fulfillment of internet connectivity will be critical to unlocking ongoing growth for Meter’s business. Every Meter Network must be powered by an Internet Service Provider (ISP). Meter Connect is our software product that simplifies and helps businesses procure and manage internet for all of their locations.
The Connect Operations team is responsible for building and operating the systems that allow us to deliver and manage connectivity to our customers at scale. In 2023 alone, we ordered, installed and supported thousands of ISP connections for our customers across the US and Canada.
We are growing this team to scale with Meter’s business. We are looking for someone who can help us turn Connect Operations into a strategic differentiator for Meter. We are looking for a systems thinker; someone who is a strong cross-functional communicator and contributor; who is great at scaling systems and processes; who is eager to get their hands dirty; and, who loves learning. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to scale our existing function and broaden its surface area.
This role is based out of our San Francisco HQ office.
