Our customers are leading ecommerce, retail and B2B organisations that use Auctane products to connect to carriers and to deliver choice and convenience for consumers, across borders and across the world. Auctane project managers work with our customers to plan, implement and deliver Auctane into the customer’s IT architecture and physical operations in order to meet their business goals, on time, within budget and to high levels of customer satisfaction. What will you be doing?

  • Managing multiple concurrent ecommerce transformation projects for ecommerce, retail and B2B organisations and 3PL’s and carriers from inception to close
  • Leading customer engagement from project inception through to transition into our support and account management teams for ongoing customer care continuity
  • Identyfing the standards and methodology approach to be employed in a project from our delivery framework
  • Planning project delivery to delight customers – exceeding quality, time and cost expectations; whilst mitigating risk and issues
  • Managing and maintaining standard project documentation to enable accurate and up to date reporting and timely visibility of risk or escalation e.g. BRD, Actions Log, Risk Register etc.
  • Assembling and leading project resources across customers, 3rd party carriers, and internal teams (including AUCTANE teams in multiple locations)
  • Building collaborative, open and trusted relationships that increase the customer's perception of the value AUCTANE brings to their business and expands future business opportunities.
  • Managing internal & external stakeholder expectations, ensuring the right communications plan approach
  • Providing regular and high-quality project communication, presentations and status reporting to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Assesses project performance and communicates lessons learned to increase knowledge.
  • Resolving all project issues including budget, timeline, scope changes, software functionality and technology
  • Maintaining a commercial Focus: project accounting of financials and time recording, ensuring accurate & profitable billing.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of three years of Project Management experience of software implementations
  • Minimum of three years of external customer management experience 
  • Awareness of ecommerce, logistics, order fulfilment processes and supporting IT systems
  • Degree educated or equivalent business experience
  • Software Development Life Cycle familiarity and experience: Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid
  • Experienced in managing multiple concurrent projects and juggling competing priorities and demands
  • Experienced in managing and coaching project team members
  • Experienced in effectively managing matrix teams and virtual teams in multiple locations
  • Willing to travel as required to support the needs of your projects; expected to be less than 20% of your time

What will make you stand out?

  • Prince II or equivalent certification
  • IT Business analysis experience
  • Experience of working with WMS or shipping software a significant plus
  • SaaS project exposure
  • JIRA software experience
