Part-Time CX Associate [Bilingual French]

MERIT is looking for a Part-Time Customer Experience Associate to support the brand’s growth internationally. The role will provide day-to-day customer-related support, responding to inquiries across email, chat, and social platforms. 

This position requires professional fluency in both English and French to effectively communicate with customers within international regions. This is a part-time position (10-20 hours per week pending business needs) with some weekends and evenings as business necessitates. Candidates must be available to work during East Coast work hours (between 9am-6pm EST, as necessary.)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide inbound customer support via email, chat, and all social platforms
  • Assist all customers and potential customers in a friendly, and professional manner and within company guidelines
  • Assess all inbound tickets to accurately and efficiently address customer's specific needs by maintaining a strong customer focus
  • Respond to all customer comments and DMs across multiple platforms in a timely and customer focused manner
  • Place customer orders and process refunds as necessary
  • Be patient and compassionate while working with all team members and using all your available resources to provide the best outcome to the customer
  • Be efficient in navigating multiple operational systems efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with external and internal teams on cross-functional projects, launches and updates 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of online customer service experience 
  • Professional working proficiency in both French and English language
  • Prior working experience with customer service platforms like Zendesk, Gladly, Gorgias, and e-commerce platforms, Shopify
  • Proficiency in social platforms (Instagram, TikTok and Meta)
  • Extensive knowledge of customer support best practices
  • Proven ability to problem solve for customers, de-escalating customer concerns and responding to customers in a professional, customer-centric manner
  • Technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • An ability to be self-directed and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and continuous improvement mindset

The hourly rate for this role is $25.00 per hour.
