Overview

We are looking for a Growth Marketing Analyst to drive our acquisition efforts via app marketing and lead Mercari into its next phase of growth. You will be a day-to-day executional owner of various ad networks, setting up campaigns in thoughtful, strategic ways and reporting on end business results. You are passionate about and familiar with digital marketing, and are highly analytical and enjoy getting in the weeds with respect to targeting and segmentation. You will work directly with both internal and external teams, including product, engineering, data science and agencies to achieve our ambitious revenue and profit targets. You will be a key member of the Growth Marketing team, and will report directly to the Sr. Growth Marketing Manager.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Drive paid growth for Mercari to achieve internal revenue and acquisition goals
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of user behavior, funnels, marketing channels, and the ecosystem in order to steer paid marketing strategy
  • Determine market trends and customer needs to discover new growth opportunities
  • Identify and optimize new and existing growth levers via campaign experimentation
  • Work collaboratively with UA adjacent teams to assist projects improving campaign effectiveness, efficiency, and measurement
  • Guide creative production, working with both internal and external teams to establish best practices for copy, creative assets, and testing cadence

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of work experience in digital marketing with an emphasis on performance; e-commerce experience is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excel expertise; SQL experience is a plus
  • Passion for our mission and driving growth
