What You'll Do

  • Run the day-to-day finance operations needs including reviewing and processing of vendor invoices bookings, staff claims and payments
  • Design, setup and manage Accounting tools and systems (e.g. Xero, NetSuite, etc.)
  • Follow up with buyers / suppliers on various finance matters for the cross-border trade transactions
  • Manage and build from scratch the process for financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Guide the cost / opex analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Build from scratch a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
  • Monitor key operating metrics such as cash flow, working capital, inventory turnover, etc.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or any other related field | CPA or similar qualification will be a plus.
  • Experience working in a start-up finance operations environment
  • Well-versed in cross border finance and accounting matters and settlements via multiple currencies
  • Extreme attention to detail and deadline management, with an insistence on high standards
