As our People Growth & Talent Manager in Toronto, you'll coach leaders to realize their full potential while leading a small but talented team of specialists across Talent Acquisition, People Experience, and People Operations. The People Growth and Talent Management role will oversee the development and growth of high-performing leaders, and teams, by driving and initiating process, facilitation, and coaching, in parallel with leading your P&C team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Dedicated support system for leaders 60% 
    • Enabling performance by helping build leadership excellence, high-performing teams, and high-performing individuals within the teams
    • Nurture Department Foundations: Engagement, Culture & Core Values, and Healthy Work-life Fundamentals
    • Ensure Sustainable Departmental Growth
    • Guide our People Processes: Supports our leaders through the Mentimeter year and related People processes in their Departments
    • Support leadership initiatives by allowing them to effectively utilize the Toronto People team
    • Support Managers with their own leadership, people, and team development
    • Facilitation of Learning Programs & Workshops.
  • Manager Responsibilities 20%
    • Manage a team of 3-4: People Operations Team Lead, Office Experience Manager, Talent Acquisition Partner and a Talent Acquisition Specialist
    • Aligns with the Toronto Management Team on roadmap and goals for the Toronto People team 
    • Set your team’s goals and help drive impactful deliverables
    • Own your overall team’s well-being and development.
  • Global Cooperation 10%: 
    • Align NAMER needs with the Global P&C Management & People Growth Stockholm teams to cooperate on implementing and adopting global Initiatives.
  • Personal Development 10%
    • Own your growth and dedicate time to your development.

 

EXPERIENCE & CORE SKILLS NEEDED

  • 5+ yrs Experience as HRBP (primarily working for scale-ups, in Toronto SaaS market) 
  • Management Experience (2+ years)
  • Experience working with SaaS sales teams
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder management 
  • Coaching, Leadership & Team Development, in theory & practice
  • Internal Communication & message packaging (verbal, written & graphical)
  • Facilitation & Process design
  • Player Coach - Managing a team of 3-4 & experience in:
    • strategy implementation for P&C direct reports & project management 
    • Organizational design and change management 
    • Employee handbook and policy development
    • Benefit plan selection, enrolment and administration
    • Compliance management
    • Performance management
    • Recruiting and onboarding
    • Employee retention and turnover
    • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging, in theory & practice
