About this role
You will act as a trusted commercial partner to empower our clients in the SME tier to continue transforming their brand efforts and meeting their objectives through Meltwater solutions. You will be responsible for managing daily account management works to commercial conversations (including contract renewals and upsells), and developing strategies to drive portfolio growth for clients in the SME tier in Greater China. You will coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Sales, Marketing, Support, etc.) to deliver a world class experience high growth SME business.
The ideal candidate with experiences in Sales & Client management will thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment while managing the full client life-cycle. Demonstrated success in exceeding objectives and communication will be key in this challenging role.
What you will be doing?
- Own and manage the success of over 60 accounts under SME tier across industry, to ensure we increase revenue and drive that portfolio to be a strategic part of the Meltwater Greater China business
- Develop individual account expansion strategies to hit the renewal and upsells targets monthly
- Maintain and report forecast of renewals for your portfolio
- Guide new clients to utilize the Meltwater global and local platforms
- Through understanding the changing needs of client, analyze client usage data, health indicators and trends to identify the upsell/cross sell opportunities and formulate the sales strategies within your client base
- Serve as the client's voice to drive continuous improvement for our platform and solutions
We would love to see…
- At least 2 years experience in a client services/account management/project management/management consulting/client experiences role
- University Degree of any disciplines with strong academic results
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin (mandatory)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine desire to help small businesses and to evangelize the Meltwater product
- Ability to analyze data to drive decision-making and recommendations
- An ability to prioritize your workload
- Outstanding conflict resolution, problem solving and negotiation ability
- You're an overachiever. You never quit, never take no for an answer, and ultimately succeed in everything you do
