Senior Merchandise Planner
Mejuri is seeking a Senior Merchandise Planner to join our dynamic Planning team! As a key contributor to Mejuri’s merchandising and inventory strategies, you will leverage data-driven insights to optimize assortment planning, drive profitable sales, and enhance inventory productivity across all channels.
You will partner closely with teams in Merchandising, Commercial, Finance, Marketing, and Supply to develop merchandise plans that align with financial goals and support Mejuri’s continued growth. Your expertise in forecasting, inventory management, and trend analysis will play a critical role in ensuring the right products are available in the right places at the right times.

What you'll do:

Develop and Maintain Merchandise Plans: Build and refine merchandise financial plans, open-to-buy strategies, and in-season inventory management plans by product category, channel, and region.

Analyze and Optimize Inventory Performance: Monitor key performance metrics, including sell-through, inventory turnover, weeks of supply, and margin contribution. Identify opportunities to maximize profitability and minimize risk.

Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial teams to align sales and inventory plans with broader business objectives. Provide data-driven recommendations to support assortment and allocation strategies.

Support Assortment Planning: Contribute to the seasonal assortment planning process by providing insights on historical performance, demand trends, and customer preferences to inform product selection and depth.

Lead In-Season Forecasting and Replenishment: Continuously update forecasts based on sales trends, market conditions, and business needs. Partner with Supply Planning to optimize replenishment strategies and ensure stock availability.

Develop Pricing and Promotion Strategies: Analyze pricing and promotional effectiveness, providing recommendations on markdowns, margin optimization, and discounting strategies.

Enhance Reporting and Insights: Generate and distribute weekly and monthly reports on merchandise performance. Utilize data analytics tools to drive actionable insights and support decision-making.

Champion Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness of the merchandise planning function.
What You'll Bring:

6+ years of experience in merchandise planning, inventory management, or retail analytics within fast-paced retail or e-commerce environments.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize inventory and sales.

Expertise in merchandise financial planning, open-to-buy management, and forecasting methodologies.

Proficiency in Excel, planning systems (e.g., Blueridge, Anaplan), and business intelligence tools.

Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to drive alignment and execution.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to diverse stakeholders.

Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-growing environment.

A proactive and strategic mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and problem-solving.

Enthusiasm for Mejuri’s mission, with experience in retail, fashion, or jewelry considered a strong asset.
