The Quality Assurance Associate focuses on ensuring the highest quality standards for jewelry and merchandise through meticulous inspection and testing processes. The candidate will be responsible for updating production quality control (QC) results, operating specialized testing equipment, and collaborating on improvement initiatives. Additionally, they will manage inventory audits, maintain compliance logs, and contribute to the training of new associates in the QC process.
What you’ll do:
- Conduct thorough inspection of jewelry and other merchandise as per quality assurance standards in a timely manner and prioritized as necessary.
- Update production QC results on the internal data dashboard.
- Review and inspect Top samples, Initial production and New Launch production with precision and report defects if any.
- Proactively identify gaps and areas of improvement to upgrade the QC process and take ownership of improvement projects.
- Operate XRF machine for related testing and update results to QC dashboard.
- Operate Diamond tester, Gross weight check machine for final QC reporting.
- Assist with pre-QC racks placements and closing it daily.
- Collaborate with the team lead for RTV units packaging and reporting process.
- Inspect and report Made-to-order production to the assigned channel.
- Review and update Supplier compliance audit log and other weekly and monthly reports.
- Operate microscope, diamond tester, gross weight machine on requirement basis.
- Sort, organize and report obsolete inventory, QC samples and other materials.
- Conduct inventory audits when required.
- Train new associates on the QC process.

What you bring to the team:
- 2+ years of jewelry quality control experience
- Highly organized with focus on execution, problem solving, and improving processes
- Exceptional time management skills and accountability
- Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a flexible environment
- Team player with an ability to work collaboratively
- Entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter
- Robust computer skills, including excel
- Gemology certification required
