Position Overview
The Senior Programmatic Trader works within multiple buying platforms to actively manage major client campaigns. You are results-driven, detail- and numbers-oriented individual, who is able to solve problems creatively and analytically. The Programmatic Trader is expected to execute and optimize programmatic display/video/mobile campaigns across multiple platforms. In this position, you will interpret campaign performance while providing creative insights, reporting, and media solutions to meet campaign challenges.
Responsibilities
- Implements, manages, and optimizes buys in DSP's and other platforms.
- Designs and executes testing strategies in the interest of client media.
- Manages vendor communication (3rd Party and PMP/PG).
- Delivers timely and insightful reports based on campaign data analysis.
- Manages campaign goals and measurement, such as scale, ramp up time, creative used.
- Contributes to clients' business growth by identifying new opportunities and communicate creative solutions to planning teams.
- Creates and presents client facing collateral to support media planning cycles.
- Maintains knowledge of ad technology buying platforms and analytics tools.
- Assists in the evaluation of new tools, opportunities, and enhancements in the programmatic space.
- Works with tag management platform and third party verification systems (IAS, Samba, Comscore, Vizo, Campaign Manager (formerly DCM).
- Interprets campaign performance while providing creative insights, reporting, and media solutions to meet campaign challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience required; 2+ years of in-platform trading experience across major real-time buying platforms (Adobe DSP, AdWords/DV360, The Trade Desk, Marin etc.) with advanced analytics and optimization capabilities, either at an agency or tech company.
- Software: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Proficiency in other MS Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.), Keynote, tag management platform and third-party verification systems (IAS, Samba, Comscore, Vizo, Campaign Manager (formerly DCM).
- Communication: strong written and verbal communication required.
- Soft Skills: Self-starter, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and close attention to detail.
