MEDAL is seeking a Full-Stack Application Engineer to develop tools to share and search electronic health records!
In this role you will:
- Extract health data from public and private sources;
- Encrypt, secure, and share patient health records;
- Develop and operate secure HIPAA infrastructure;
- Learn and apply biomedical informatics skills
REQUIRED
- Python 2.7 (3.0 preferred)
- API development and data processing
- Web development experience ( minimal javascript )
- Some messaging system knowledge ( such as RabbitMQ )
- Amazon AWS, Terraform
Familiarity or Willingness to Learn
- Other languages, especially statically typed: C#/Java
- Data Science (on the job training)
Very Nice to Have:
- HIPAA (or other experience working with sensitive/private data)
- Knowledge of BioMedical tools and resources
