As the Team Lead, Publisher Services, you will provide leadership to the team for the day to day needs of Associates, including managing work processes, workloads and with a high standard of quality and efficiency. You will have a keen eye to uncover broken processes and maintain a strong voice to determine solutions. You have a strong background in publishing copyright and royalty issues. You will play an integral part in the operational processes supporting inquiry management, work registrations, catalog transfers, disputes, and royalty payment adjustments between members.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
2 years related experience in Publishing
Excel savvy & comfortable navigating new systems
Superior attention to detail with an ability to prioritize tasks
Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills
Demonstrated supervisory experience or experience coordinating a team to reach results
Ability to adapt quickly to change
YOU WILL LEAD WORK OF ASSOCIATES BY:
Providing training to address copyright administration and royalty issues as needed.
Creating and managing operational processes for account coverage and triaging inquiries (copyright claims, conflicts, royalty Inquiries, LODs, etc.).
Utilizing data driven strategies to set clear expectations that measure the team’s success while identifying trends and optimizing team workflows.
Establishing and communicating workload prioritization within the team.
Communicating roadblocks and results to leadership.
Working cross-functionally to remove roadblocks and empower individuals to execute and deliver results.
Providing feedback that will help drive process improvement efforts.
Developing quality assurance processes to help achieve consistent quality standards.
Maintaining and tracking operational KPIs to identify insights and trends.
