As Manager, Musical Works Matching, you will provide leadership to the team for matching musical works to sound recordings, to ensure that matches are made with a high standard of quality and efficiency. You will have a keen eye to optimize existing processes and recommend solutions. You have a high expertise level in matching musical works to sound recordings and understand the steps needed to complete the process successfully. You will play an integral part of the Royalty Distribution process for our members.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
2 years minimum experience in matching Musical Works to Sound Recordings or related music industry experience
Excel savvy and comfortable navigating new systems
Superior attention to detail with an ability to prioritize tasks
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated supervisory experience or experience leading a team to reach results
Ability to adapt quickly to change
YOU WILL LEAD A TEAM OF MATCHING ASSOCIATES BY:
Training a team to match musical works to sound recordings.
Utilizing data driven strategies to set clear expectations that measure the team’s success while identifying trends and optimizing team workflows.
Coaching and mentoring the team to minimize errors and ensure a high productivity level.
Establishing and communicating workload prioritization within the team.
Communicating roadblocks and results to leadership.
Working cross-functionally to remove roadblocks and empower individuals to execute and deliver results.
Providing feedback that will help drive process improvement efforts.
Approving musical works matches to help ensure that matching integrity is consistently maintained.
Develop quality assurance processes to help achieve consistent quality standards.
