We are looking for a People Operations Manager to join the MealPal team.  Reporting to the Head of People, this person will ensure that our Human Resources operations are running smoothly as we grow. From onboarding new Pals onto the team to successfully supporting our current team members, this person will be integral as we rapidly scale our company.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR and the entire company to deliver a best-in-class employee experience
  • Support a global team by coaching and counseling in areas such as talent management, employee development, performance management, and employee relations
  • Be the go-to person for employees who have questions about policies, employment verifications and everyday HR questions
  • Manage all onboarding and offboarding processes as well as leaves of absence
  • Maintain all HR systems and employee files to ensure the most up-to-date and accurate information
  • Help facilitate company-wide performance review process
  • Assist with employee benefit administration and payroll
  • Stay on top of HR best practices as well as employment laws in all MealPal markets

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in an HR function
  • Experience in HR administration, employee relations, talent management
  • Experience supporting a team at a rapidly growing company
  • Clear, proactive communicator with a high EQ
  • Highly organized self-starter with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to hustle - working independently, effectively prioritizing and driving towards deadlines
  • Thoughtfulness, flexibility and a positive attitude.
