The Payroll Manager for MCO will be responsible for all things payroll across several of the companies within Regent's portfolio. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO…

  • Ensure payroll is processed in a timely and accurately on a weekly and bi-weekly basis.
  • Proficient understanding in updating payroll records by reviewing changes for general employee profile set up and maintenance to include minimum wage earnings, state/local coding, insurance deductions taxability & court-ordered deductions.
  • Manage regular preparation of relevant management reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports.
  • Ad hoc reports/projects requested by corporate management team.
  • Responsible for reconciliation and management of PTO policies.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED…

We want you to succeed in this position and will help coach you in refining your skills.  The ideal candidate would possess:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • Ceridian Dayforce is a must. Workday preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient understanding of FULL CYCLE payroll.
  • Strong conceptual thinking. We want our team to be able to start projects off from an incredibly strong position and come up with unforeseen, clever concepts to move forward with a deep level of care about the quality of your work. 
  • Strong self-management practices with meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Honesty, Integrity & Fairness. Respect for individual ability, creativity and diversity.
  • A natural inclination to be pro-active and take the lead in solving problems as you find them. A hunger for personal and professional growth.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), discretion, professional openness, and other leadership skills needed to coordinate and facilitate healthy, well-organized teamwork.
  • Expert level abilities in Microsoft Office computer programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • This role is fully in office 5 days a week.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, MCO includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This accounts for the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $85,000 per year to $130,000 per year.
