The Role

We are recruiting for a high-performing and enthusiastic front-end lawyer to join our renowned Sydney Construction practice.

This role provides a fantastic opportunity to advise on a broad spectrum of construction and infrastructure-related matters, including project agreements, design and construct agreements, facilities management contracts and standing offer deeds.

You will work with an array of clients including developers, contractors, airport operators, shopping centre developments, infrastructure, commercial, residential and industrial projects and demolition and remediation projects. As a trusted adviser, you will provide thorough commercial advice on all aspects of drafting and negotiation of commercial and procurement contracts, documentation, procedures and contract administration, whilst assisting with contract administration issues, commercial wrap ups and construction disputes.

Experience

As the successful candidate, you will be a skilled and enthusiastic lawyer, with a minimum of two years post-admission experience. As well as having industry knowledge, you will be passionate about construction with a keen desire to develop a long-term career in this space. Furthermore, you will have excellent communication skills and will be able to work well both autonomously and as part of a close-knit team.
