The Team

The McCullough Robertson Tax team is among the largest in Australia, renowned for its commercial, solutions-driven approach.

Our tax team serves a diverse range of clients, including publicly listed companies, managed funds, private groups, and high-wealth individuals, and provides expert assistance to numerous accountants, lawyers, and financial planners. We prioritize a commercial approach to resolving matters quickly and cost-efficiently for our clients, whilst also upholding a strong history of successfully litigating disputes when necessary.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a competent and committed tax Senior Associate to join the team in Brisbane.  Working alongside three technically excellent and highly respected partners, you will be afforded numerous learning and development prospects, as well as opportunities for involvement with the wider firm.

In this role, you will work on a broad range of high-quality matters, including income tax advice, asset protection and business succession transactions and advice, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity fundraisings, managed fuds advice and assisting with the implementation of restructure transactions.  Your clients will include high-net wealth individuals, small and medium businesses and large corporates across an array of industries including across infrastructure, resources and renewables, food and agribusiness and not-for-profits.

Experience

As the successful candidate, you will be an accomplished tax specialist at the Senior Associate level. You will bring to the table strong technical skills and a deep understanding of your speciality, complimented by a genuine, client-focused approach.

Additionally, you will value working in a supportive and collaborative team environment. You will thrive on building strong relationships with your colleagues, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the team's collective success. Your ability to work well with others will be a key asset in delivering exceptional service to our clients.
