The Role
Due to growth within the team, we are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our high-performing Insurance & Corporate Risk team, working closely with the partner in the team.
In this role, you will work across personal injury (acting for Defendants), with a current focus on abuse claims, however will also expand into other areas as required, including public liability, property damage, policy interpretation, coverage litigation and other general insurance and contractual matters. You will work with quality clients in the construction, resources, agribusiness, property owner, not for profit, technology and infrastructure sectors.
There is also a large leadership component to the role, in which you will assist the partners supervise and mentor junior staff, as well as many opportunities for career advancement. If you are looking to cultivate a successful legal career in the Insurance space, this is the role for you!
Experience
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in insurance and be looking to progress their career in this space. A previous history working in personal injuries claims is required, with experience acting for defendants is preferred. Applicants who have acted for plaintiffs will also be considered, provided they have experience and an interest in abuse claims.
