As Account Supervisor, you are a team lead on running critical pieces of the business, managing account teams and being a client counselor. You are a key member of new business pitches, as well as selling in projects to clients. The AS is drafting and creating programs, as well as assisting/overseeing the execution of certain program elements, and has a large hand in client budgeting. At this level, you are a key participant in hiring decisions and have a strong grasp of team and billable work as it relates to staff and client budgeting.
Responsible for overseeing client deliverables. This includes direct account team deliverables, as well as working with an integrated agency team (IAT) to deliver shared agency deliverables/reports/plans/etc.
Serve as day-to-day client contact
Manage account budgets and have a strong grasp on account profitability
Supervise and direct account teams (5+ people). This includes working with direct reports, as well as other account team supervisors to help prioritize shared team member’s time.
Collaborate on building communications plans (PR + Influencer) designed to support client business objectives
Drive significant media relations activities, jumping in from a strategic perspective and maintaining relationships with key industry/media contacts within your practice
Manage talent and influencer partnerships, helping to oversee everything from strategy development, roster development, contracting, briefing and execution
Maintain a deep knowledge of the earned media and influencer space, as well as emerging social/digital trends relevant to practice area
Actively participate in new business activities
Participate in staffing decisions (candidate interviews and hiring)
