As a Senior Account Supervisor, you are a team lead on running critical pieces of the business, managing account teams and being a client counselor. You are a key member of new business pitches as well as selling in projects to clients. The SAS is drafting and creating programs and has a large hand in client budgeting. At this level, you are a key participant in hiring decisions and have a strong grasp of team and billable work as it relates to staff and client budgeting.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for team deliverables and client communication
- Have a strong grasp on account profitability
- Create, review, and track budgeting
- Set performance standards for account teams
- Supervise and direct account teams on communicating client deliverables
- Responsible for team updates on yearly plans and assignments
- Provide strong editorial support
- A problem solver for the team
- A strategic voice for the client
- Drive significant media relations activities, jumping in from a strategic perspective
- Participate in staffing decisions (candidate interviews and hiring)
- Maintain strong media connections within your practice
- Lead client calls and meetings
- Collaborate on budgeting programs
- Actively participate in new business activities
- Oversee special events
- The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in consumer marketing specifically: traditional public relations, large integrated programming, social strategy, and influencer marketing. Experience with Wine and Spirits is an added bonus but not a must!
Requirements
- 5+ Years of experience on an Account and on the agency side
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience managing a team of 3-4 direct reports
