Note:This role is located at the May Mobility Site Office in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Perform repair on in-vehicle systems and environmental infrastructure units
Track and ensure vehicle up-time by fixing, replacing, repairing components
Create and document processes to facilitate knowledge transfer to other in-field technicians and operators
Maintain vehicles in the field, including sensor calibration, mechanical maintenance, and software/firmware upgrades
Document and resolve issues encountered in the field
Tuesday-Saturday weekly work schedule required
Minimum 3 years professional experience with electrical and mechanical systems - ideally working on various types of vehicles, equipment with computerized controls or sensors, robotic systems, etc
Previous experience with electronics and wiring
Excellent oral and written communications skills and ability to communicate effectively in technical environments
Ability to climb a ladder up to 10 feet
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to walk, bend, crouch, and perform work under vehicles
Ability to perform work in a variety of weather and temperature conditions, including outdoors and non-temperature controlled garages
Valid U.S. driver’s license
Ability to undergo a driving record check
Ability to travel up to 10%, including training and on-boarding
High School Diploma
Experience in Linux command line environments can be helpful
