Mayfair is looking for experienced, world-class, full-stack product engineers that thrive in the 0→1 product phase. In this role, you will work closely with everyone in engineering, product, and design to build meaningful products from the ground up rather than optimizing features around the edges.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with product and design to create technical specifications for new initiatives.
- Converting technical specifications into stories that any engineer can understand.
- Getting products to market quickly to get real-world feedback.
- Providing regular feedback to other engineers through code reviews.
- Interviewing engineering candidates that are at or below your level.
- Mentoring and onboarding junior or new engineers.
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have 5+ years of product engineering experience.
- Have a bias for action and are not afraid to make mistakes.
- Enjoy wearing multiple hats (product, design, customer, owner).
- Excel at working both independently and collaboratively with teammates.
- Are not looking for work-life balance—you’re optimizing for being part of a smart, ambitious team that is highly motivated to build and improve products that matter.
