Trading Application Engineer
Responsibilities
- Support Trading operations in a cutting-edge tech environment;
- Deploy and maintain in-house developed trading applications;
- Work closely with other teams in IT (Development, Network, DevOps amongst others) in establishing and implementing long-term plans to ensure platform stability;
- Troubleshoot and identify the root causes of application issues, implement immediate solutions, and follow-up on structural improvements;
- Implement automations where possible - we're sure there will be plenty of opportunities to do so ;) ;
- Collaborate closely with various corners of the organization in connecting to new markets/exchanges, deploying new applications, and trading features.
Due to our trading activities and the nature of this role, the working hours are focused on the afternoon/evening: 3 out of the 5 working days follow a 14:00 - 23:00 working schedule.
What we are looking for
- Up to 4 years of experience in a similar role;
- Experience working with Linux;
- Familiarity with a Scripting Language (Bash or Python);
- Familiarity in SQL;
- A proactive attitude with clear communication skills;
- An individual comfortable engaging with a variety of different people and teams;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
- Proven expertise in building and nurturing professional relationships;
- Nice to have: experience with automation and previous exposure to a trading environment.

The Interview Process
- Aptitude Assessment (Duration: 15 minutes);
- Introductory Interview (Duration: 30 minutes);
- Take-home project (Duration: 90 minutes);
- You will have one week to work through this – it will be used in the first technical interview.
- Technical interview with future colleagues (Duration: 60 minutes);
- Technical interview with the CTO (Duration: 60 minutes).
