Office Manager - Amsterdam (Part-time 20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a streamlined front-office by welcoming visitors, answering phone calls, and handling incoming mail and e-mail;
  • Take care of the communal spaces at the office, keep inventory up-to-date, food, beverages, and office and kitchen supplies;
  • Actively contribute to team events, company outings, and other activities;
  • Book flights and accommodations for business trips;
  • Manage access keys, parking spots and public transport cards;
  • Be the first point of contact for external parties and suppliers;
  • Support with health and safety initiatives, such as the Emergency Response Team and Risk Assessment and Evaluation (RI&E);
  • Coordinate the in-company Dutch classes for employees;
  • Purchase gifts for employee birthdays and special occasions;
  • Support with employee onboarding and relocation;
  • Support Business Operations related projects and assignments on an ad-hoc basis.

What we’re looking for

  • You are located in the Netherlands and willing to travel to our office in Amsterdam; 
  • You are available for 20 hours per week, preferably spread over five weekdays;
  • A social, culturally sensitive and communicative individual;
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus);
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
  • A flexible and proactive mindset;
  • Ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands quickly and efficiently.

The interview process

  • Aptitude assessment (Duration: 15 minutes), this test is meant to identify your strengths in various areas such as problem-solving and critical thinking;
  • Interview with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (Duration: 45 minutes);
  • Interview with the COO and HR Business Partner (Duration: 45 minutes).
