Quantitative Trader - Amsterdam

Responsibilities

This vacancy is part of our growing Delta One trading desk. It will work closely with the rest of the team in identifying and capturing new opportunities. It is closely involved in:

  • Participating in Delta One platform building;
  • Managing and monitoring live trading strategies;
  • Analyzing market data and exploring trading ideas;
  • Researching high and mid-frequency alphas;
  • Proactive post-trade analysis.

What we’re looking for

  • An inherent desire to strive for excellence;
  • A curiosity for colleagues’ work;
  • Proficiency in Python. Knowledge of C++ is favourable;
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a similar position in the Proprietary Trading industry;
  • Familiarity with any of the following is favourable: Trino, TimeScaleDB, Apache Airflow, Parquet;
  • Advanced academic degree in Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics (or equivalent).

The interview process

The interview process is conducted on an ad hoc basis for this role given the understanding that experienced Traders hold specific expertise, which requires a custom interview process.
