We are looking for a HR Generalist to join our Core HR team to cover a Maternity Leave absence. You will have a strong 360-degree Human Resources skill set and a commercial approach with a proactive attitude to deliver a ‘Market Leading’ employee experience for all Maven employees. The role is likely to suit someone who enjoys HR operations and is very familiar with the full employee lifecycle, who can get stuck in and display a can-do attitude in everything they do!

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • First point of contact for all HR-related queries concerning your client group of our Trading and Support teams across Europe and the Asia-Pacfic. This requires a high degree of responsiveness, proactivity, and care for the employee experience.
  • Responsible for providing a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for all new joining employees within your client group.
  • Responsible for delivering regular performance management cycles, an exceptional employee experience, and lifecycle management including probation and offboarding.
  • Deliver effective support to the HR Manager and the wider business, ensuring operational excellence across all aspects of the HR function.
  • Maintaining up-to-date, accessible and accurate HR records 
  • Administration for employees: new hire inductions, employee change requests, benefits administration, performance management, exits, relocations, visa applications, reference letters, maintaining JDs, assisting HR training sessions and interviews.
  • Processing of all relevant HR invoices.
  • Responsible for handling immigration processes and facilitating international mobility for employees across all client groups of the business. Including initial immigration applications, renewals, and supporting existing employees who are relocating to international offices. 
  • Responsible for HR systems administration and improvements, and assisting with wider HR project deliveries. 
  • Assisting with management reporting & monthly payroll and benefits administration.
  • Promotion of employee welfare, equality and health and safety within the workplace. 
  • Comply with all applicable Compliance policies, procedures, laws and regulations 
  • Other ad-hoc projects as directed by the Group Chief People Officer and HR Manager.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

  • Experience as a HR Generalist in Financial services is desirable, and experience supporting Trading client groups will be an advantage.
  • HR Generalist experience with employees located in APAC, Netherlands, or Monoco is desirable.
  • Greenhouse, HiBob, and Culture Amp experience desirable.
  • Experience in supporting immigration applications in the UK is essential, including using the Sponsorship Management System. Experience in supporting immigration in the Netherlands, Monaco, Hong Kong, and Australia is desirable.
