As a junior member of our APAC Finance team, you will focus on requirements for the Sydney and Hong Kong regions and also gain exposure to a highly successful global business.
You will receive excellent training from the senior professionals in the team and experience all core areas of finance and more throughout your time with Maven. There will be opportunities to take on responsibility and ownership early on and learn the intricate details of the business.
Some of the tasks you’ll be actively involved in will include:
- Accounts payable, management of external stakeholders
- Reconciliation and payment of brokerage
- Month end close processes
- Internal Stakeholder management
- Operational finance and Treasury
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Process and Policy maintenance
- Exposure to areas Tax
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area with intention to pursue CA/CPA
- Ability to work in an environment that encourages ad-hoc problem solving
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to deal with global distributed teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel)
- Experience in any financial system is a plus, and an interest in learning new systems and processes is important
