Maven Securities is looking for software developers with the C# engineering and analytical skills to help drive our continuing success to the next level. You will work alongside the best traders and developers to help us optimise and automate our post trade systems, including reporting, position management, building new and innovative solutions in addition to enhancing our existing post trade systems.
YOUR ROLE
- Design and develop fit for purpose products to drive critical business functions with a focus on performance, testability, maintainability, and resilience
- Critical to the role is handling large volumes of complex data from varied sources (Postgres and SQL Server databases, REST API’s, flat files)
- Independently take ownership of, and responsibility for, the further development of existing applications - helping increase the test code coverage
- Happy to work alongside multiple stakeholders – ensuring they are being provided with regular feedback for ongoing projects
ABOUT YOU
- 5+ years software development experience from any industry sector
- Excellent C# ability including strong focus on testing processes
- NET Core
- Experience designing and building system architectures that scale and are resilient
- Strong SQL skills and exposure to large datasets (Postgres, SQL Server).
- Business communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
- Relish building great-looking and easy-to-use web based front ends.
- Take pride in solid, lean, effective solutions that people enjoy utilising.
Nice to have:
- Python experience and able to write proficient production level code
- Experience with a range of libraries eg pandas, flask.
- Modern Front-end UI development experience, especially React and TypeScript.
- Event-driven design, DDD, CQRS and/or EventSourcing experience
- Experience of working with Post Trade systems
- Orchestrade experience
