THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity to have an instrumental role in establishing our US operation in Chicago. You will have a momentous impact on the execution of our most ambitious initiative yet; to build and expand a leading options market making business. You will be responsible for trading the relevant Index options book listed on US exchanges, improve trading strategies and identify new opportunities. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: 

  • Experienced options market maker with the ability, passion and drive to build and expand a successful trading business
  • Proven track record of successful PnL and risk ownership on a high volume Index options market making desk
  • Excellent understanding of the systematic and discretionary considerations involved in the risk management of an options book
  • Experience in taking down large orders originating on screen, phone or floor
  • Expertise in capitalising on opportunities that arise around events or other sources of price dislocation
  • Familiarity in the use, monitoring and optimization of a high-performance execution system
  • Exposure to the study of market microstructure and the low-level analysis of trade executions
  • An ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
