As the General Manager, Health Plans, you’ll play a crucial role in scaling Maven’s health plan business and strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own and constantly refine the go-to-market strategy, partnering with key internal stakeholders across clinical, sales, marketing, and product to ensure the offering meets health plan customer needs. You will also own key external relationships with health plan stakeholders. Informed by a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and digital health ecosystem, you will successfully navigate health plan organizations and build key relationships to bring Maven to health plan customers.

As the General Manager, Health Plans you will:

  • Be a core partner to the executive team, serving as a leader of the health plan market and a thought partner to other executives
  • Own P&L of health plan market, responsible for scaling the health plan business and growing the team 
  • Refine the go-to-market framework for health plans, including market segmentation, needs and opportunity assessment, partnership model design, and product / pricing implications
  • Generate health plan leads, manage inbound RFPs, and work closely with marketing to continue to build thought leadership and awareness
  • Serve as Maven’s ambassador to health plans, leading business development from inception through to contracting and implementation, working to continuously expand Maven’s impact over time  
  • Develop the end-to-end plan and organize the broader organization to deliver on the go-to-market strategy to efficiently grow health plan business internally, lead and manage cross-functional efforts across Maven product, operations, and clinical teams
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market opportunities, trends, emerging customer needs, and the competitive landscape

We’re looking for you to bring:

  • Junior Partner / Principal or Senior Engagement Manager / Senior Project Lead role from a top consulting firm and/or senior strategy & operations role at fast-growth tech company
  • MBA preferred but not required
  • Strategic thinking to apply to both health plan market and Maven’s broader organization
  • Extensive experience working within the healthcare space; health plan experience either directly or through deep partnerships strongly preferred
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual problem solving skills and ability to develop actionable recommendations
  • Knowledge of how health plans think with experience across lines of business, contracting, and  payment models a plus
  • Strong executive presence and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships across internal and external organizations, from executive management to mid-level management, and comfort influencing cross-functional leadership to drive positive business outcomes
  • Humility with ability and desire to roll up sleeves and be hands on in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
