MATTE is a 360° full-service creative studio at the convergence of hype, storytelling and design. About this role:

As the Senior Designer at MATTE, you'll serve as a strategic and conceptual design leader within our creative department. Operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you'll collaborate with multiple brands across the agency. Your responsibilities will encompass owning the design process from ideation to execution, driving results-oriented solutions while remaining adaptable to performance analytics. Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, you'll be tasked with:

Design:

  • Conceptualizing and crafting engaging, innovative, and functional experiences for branded content.
  • Ideating and executing pitches, materials, and mocks to support client deliverables.
  • Working across various clients, ensuring consistency while tailoring designs to each brand's specific needs.
  • Leading creative projects from concept to production, collaborating with producers and project managers for seamless delivery.
  • Assisting the New Business team with presentation delivery and pitch review.
  • Creating visually compelling client decks aligned with designated style guides.
  • Maintaining organized working files and adhering to best practices for file preparation, delivery, and archiving.
  • Participating in weekly creative meetings and brainstorming sessions.
  • Receiving design direction from Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Associate Creative Directors to enhance visual compositions.

Teamwork:

  • Providing direction and guidance to junior designers as necessary.
  • Contributing fresh design ideas, planning strategies, and treatments to the team.
  • Staying abreast of news, technology, and content in the media landscape.
  • Maintaining a professional and collaborative communication style across teams.

What You Will Bring:

  • 7+ years of design experience in an in-house studio and/or ad agency environment.
  • Strong digital and print design skills.
  • Experience in designing direct mail, digital assets, print/event collateral, branding/logo development, videos, etc.
  • Excellent layout and typography skills.
  • Proficiency in visual design, user-centered experience design, interaction design, brand development, and the creative process.
  • Ability to translate business strategy into creative thinking and execution that drives results.
  • Strong collaborator and team player, capable of working with cross-functional internal teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Keynote, Creative Cloud, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Office, and G Suite products.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000/ year based on experience
