This position provides the opportunity to develop your specialty in gerontological nursing leadership through the design and implementation of innovative programming and performance improvement initiatives. You’ll be supported by a range of colleagues both in the community and from Headquarters. 

Requirements include an Arizona State RN license and a minimum of 5 years management experience, preferably in a hospital or skilled nursing community.

Preferred:   Masters or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), computer proficiency, knowledge of Medicare/MDS requirements, 1 year long-term care experience

Position Responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Leadership: Selecting, directing, developing and educating, and managing nursing staff according to standards of performance to ensure quality care to all residents
  • Knowledge: Assuring that nursing team functions within guidelines set forth by federal and state regulatory agencies
  • Clinical: Coordinating, monitoring, and managing the quality and outcomes of resident care.
