We are seeking a Director of Repriorment Services to lead a team of wellness and engagement professionals who facilitate a variety of programs, events, partnerships and more that support Ways to Age Well℠ for residents at Mather Place. Oversee and is accountable for all aspects of Repriorment including services & hospitality (concierge and transportation), engagement & wellness (programs and events), support functions (psychosocial needs, family engagement, transitions, care needs, etc.) Supports successful delivery of community operations and policies.  Drives delivery of ContinuWell wellness initiatives within community life.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Leads Repriorment team: Ensures that day-to-day delivery of services, resident communications, community programs and events, and support services are operating effectively and align with Mather brand standards, are within budget, and achieve a high level of resident engagement and satisfaction. Selects, mentors, trains and leads Concierge, Transportation, & Engagement employees to ensure the extraordinary, consistent and efficient delivery of services, experiences, and operational processes. In collaboration with and guidance from Human Resources staff, is responsible for employee performance, learning and development, engagement and satisfaction. Oversees the development and communication of staff schedules.  
  • Supports daily community operations and leadership as directed by Executive Director: Including community emergency responses, resident concerns, community safety needs, and resident psychosocial/transitions needs. Collaborates with other departments to positively impact resident experience.
  • Leads concierge and transportation services. Oversees an exceptional experience within resident services including a Nextraordinary greeting to residents, family, and visitors, an excellent customer service/concierge experience, and safe and efficient transportation in Mather vehicles. Collaborates with Connections regarding tours, special events, or move-ins.
  • Contractor Management: Oversees contracted services including home care, fitness and therapy services, spa/salon services, Independent Contractors, etc. Communicates effectively with contracted partners, Mather Place employees, residents, and families regarding contracted services. Ensures that independent contractors undergo the review process with Accounting and Human Resources staff and receive Mather orientation regarding brand standards for engagement and wellness, Code of Conduct, and required training.
  • Develops budgets and manages expenses: Including engagement, wellness, resident services, and support initiatives; utilizes budget to provide quality experiences and strategically utilize contractors, supplies and services.
  • Conducts strategic planning to align community offerings with Person-Centric Wellness Model within the spheres of Health and Wellbeing, Arts and Culture, and Lifelong Learning. Ensures Manager of Creative Engagement translates strategy into monthly calendar offerings.
  • Ensures the timely coordination, production, and distribution of monthly calendars through directing efforts of Engagement team and reviewing/approving calendars and supplemental communication materials, changes, and registration processes. Ensures resident programs, communications, (including calendars, signage, broadcast channels, community updates, etc.) and amenity spaces meet Mather brand standards.
  • Is accountable for achieving high levels of resident engagement: via programs that inspire genuine curiosity and peer inspiration, encourage community discourse, highlight resident experience and creativity, and inspire the socioemotional safety needed for residents to try new things and connect authentically. Creates opportunities for intergenerational and civic engagement.
  • Responsible for collecting & reporting outcomes of resident engagement utilizing existing data collection tools and by identifying new opportunities for formal and informal engagement data.
  • Builds relationships with residents Identifies strategies to engage with residents regularly to address needs/interests, seek input and feedforward, and support resident committees and initiatives. 
  • Builds relationships with family members: Identifies ways to encourage family/intergenerational engagement in community life. Provides family member communication and support regarding resident needs/transitions and Mather Place policies. Addresses family member questions, concerns, or needs in timely and respectful manner.
  • Develops key external relationships and partnerships in the local community: including but not limited to schools, churches/synagogues, rotary clubs, parks/gardens, arts & culture organizations, theaters, etc. that can be translated into meaningful opportunities for resident engagement and wellness and broader community participation.
  • Partners with Connections to ensure smooth move-in process for new residents. Creates an effective communication process with Connections to ensure effective selling and talking points of the resident wellness & engagement experience including services, programs, and support, and community amenities.
