We are seeking Servers to join our award-winning workplace. As part of our team, you will provide outstanding restaurant experiences at our multiple in-house restaurants within our luxury senior living residence. Essential Functions:
• Takes accurate food orders
• Serves food and beverages in multiple restaurant venues with differing styles of service
• Is knowledgeable about food and beverage offerings and can provide recommendations based on guest preferences
• Promptly and accurately closes checks.
• Always maintains a neat and orderly appearance according to established standards.
• Completes related tasks and side work as assigned.
• Demonstrates a positive, respectful, and professional team approach and communicates effectively with residents, peers, and managers.
• Consistently communicates resident and guests concerns to supervisors and/or management.
• Assists in maintaining and achieving departmental sanitation standards and goals
We have positions available for part-time; FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES. Weekend, and holiday availability required.
Required:
• Excellent interaction and communication skills
• Demonstrates completion of assigned duties through effective teamwork
• Strong hospitality service skills and a passion for interacting with people
• English language proficiency
• 1 year or more of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant
Preferred:
• Prior service experience in dining environment
• Level 4 LobsterInk Certification
• 2 or more years of server experience in an upscale restaurant
• Event server knowledge and experience
• Foundational level of wine knowledge
The hourly base wage range is a good faith estimate of the range Mather reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. The actual hourly base wage paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, geographic location and market changes. The position is also eligible to participate in Mather benefit plans and Employee Appreciation Fund.
