Massdrop is looking for an Associate Buyer. This is the dream job for anyone who loves products, shares their insights and opinions in online forums, and has a strong interest to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

As an Associate Buyer, you will work closely with Buyers to assist in all aspects of Massdrop's purchasing cycle from identifying products to coordinating launches, work with existing accounts, and organize product releases. This role is an important step toward becoming a Massdrop buyer, as it will enable you to strengthen your skills in all facets of the purchasing cycle.

Here’s what you’ll do as part of the team:

  • Assist in ensuring campaigns run flawlessly from start to finish
  • Work with the sample coordinator to ensure delivery of samples to the creative team
  • Perform analysis on existing sales
  • Source new products

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Stellar computing skills with experience in online communities (i.e. forums, reddit)
  • Top-notch verbal and written communication skills
  • Expertise in one of our thirteen communities preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Buying experience and business knowledge preferred
