Glen Research specializes in providing high-quality reagents for the synthesis of DNA and RNA, playing a crucial role in advancing cutting-edge research and biotechnological applications. As a Manufacturing Associate in the Dry Lab, your primary responsibility will be to meticulously package essential materials like phosphoramidites, which are vital for synthesizing oligonucleotides. By ensuring the precise handling of these non-hazardous reagents, you'll contribute directly to the success of pioneering scientific discoveries in genomics, molecular biology, and beyond. How you will make an impact: 

  • Ensure smooth laboratory operations through regular maintenance and upkeep of essential equipment, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.

  • Skillfully assemble and inspect support columns, contributing to seamless workflow and high-quality outputs.

  • Conduct final inspections of completed orders, verifying accuracy and completeness before shipping.
  • Execute shipping processes using advanced automated software, ensuring timely and secure deliveries via FedEx.

 The skills and experience that you will bring: 

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field. Equivalent hands-on experience in a laboratory setting may substitute for formal education, showcasing practical expertise.
  • Strong Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential, enabling clear collaboration and documentation.
  • Adherence to Protocol: Ability to follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and personalized guidance from team leaders with precision and accuracy.
  • Self-Motivated Team Player: Demonstrates initiative and the ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Repetitive Task Proficiency: Comfortable and efficient in performing repetitive tasks with consistency and focus.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and fine motor skills are critical, ensuring flawless execution of detail-oriented tasks.
