TriLink BioTechnologies is seeking a Temporary Automation Engineer II who will be responsible for developing, programming, and maintaining industrial control systems, primarily focusing on Ignition SCADA, Allen Bradley PLCs, and HMIs. How you will make an impact:
- Implement and manage SCADA systems using Inductive Automation Ignition, focusing on integrating data from various platforms and equipment.
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs.
- Lead the integration of third-party systems into the Ignition SCADA platform.
- Develop and manage detailed documentation, including change controls, system specifications, and validation protocols.
- Write test scripts and perform validation and qualification activities for automation systems.
- Support equipment qualification and compliance with GMP standards.
The skills and experience that you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Control Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, specifically with Inductive Automation Ignition.
- Strong understanding of GMP and regulatory standards in the life sciences or similar industries.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and HMI design.
- Familiarity with network protocols such as OPC-UA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in data integration, scripting (e.g., Python), and database management is a plus.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $41.00 - $42.50 per hour. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
