SUMMARY

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing the development and execution of renewable energy projects powered by co-located data centers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partners.
  2. Technical Design and Engineering:
    • Collaborate with internal and external engineering teams to develop detailed engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and calculations in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  3. Procurement and Supply Chain Management:
    • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to support project construction and installation activities.
  4. Construction Oversight and Quality Assurance:
    • Provide oversight and supervision of construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
    • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, utility providers, and community members.
  6. Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
    • Identify project risks, technical challenges, and potential issues that may impact project performance or delivery timelines.
    • Develop risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and alternative solutions to address technical issues and minimize project disruptions.
  7. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including technical specifications, engineering drawings, construction records, and commissioning reports.
    • Prepare regular progress reports, technical documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and action items.

  • Education:
    • Bachelor preferred in business, operations, management and/or finance
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector or related industries such as construction, engineering, or energy development.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams towards achieving project objectives and deliverables.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and project updates to diverse stakeholders, including clients, investors, regulatory agencies, and community members.
  • Financial Acumen:
    • Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management principles to develop and monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure project profitability.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting processes, zoning requirements, and other regulatory frameworks relevant to renewable energy project development and operations.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
    • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities to effectively coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project Management Skills:
    • Ability to utilize computer applications such as Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and the MAS90 system.
  • Renewable Energy Knowledge:
    • In-depth understanding of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, hydroelectric, biomass, and/or geothermal, and their respective development processes.
