The Maps SDK team builds the native libraries that bring our maps to applications on Android and iOS. We build for devices of all shapes and forms, from the latest flagship phone to tablets, laptops, smartwatches, HMD, and embedded boards. Our developers build apps, games and navigation experiences that top the App Store and Play Store rankings, and we are constantly working together to help them build what’s next, whether that’s an Augmented Reality game, a popular consumer app, or an autonomous driving experience.
What You'll Do
We are looking for an experienced mobile release engineer that will help our development teams maintain and improve release systems and best practices for our mobile sdks.
In this role, you will take ownership of release systems and tools that Mapbox developers use to create, test, benchmark, validate and deploy our Maps SDKs. You will work directly with the engineering teams to own the build, package and distribution for our Android, iOS and C++ products. Your previous working experience with iOS/Android development will provide you with the knowledge needed to debug build issues unique to these platforms.
