In 2019, Mapbox made a considerable investment in the platform to support the Japanese market, including the integration of best-in-class Zenrin data and supporting the launch of Yahoo! JAPAN’s new maps for millions of people. Today, the demand for Mapbox in Japan is growing as we become the leading Japanese platform for maps and locations.
What You'll Do
Create detailed sales plans to identify business opportunities, business models and channels for business growth
Manage the entire sales cycle to achieve the sales goals
Propose Mapbox Ads solutions to prospective advertisers and advertising agencies to win business opportunities
Manage the relationship with advertisers and advertising agencies to provide professional customer success support to understand and meet their needs
Participate in product roadmap discussions based on clients’ feedback to improve the solutions
What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role
7+ years of experience in online advertising as an account executive with strong focus on business development
Experience working with the Product team
Self-starter and Quick learner
Business level in English. Fluency in Japanese.
Relationships with advertising agencies, media buyers and technology decision-makers
Product development through feedback of customers
Account Management of longer sales cycles with many stakeholders
Management experience with 5+ members.
