WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

ManyChat is expanding its marketing team and we're searching for a Director of Events & Experiences with exceptional project management skills to drive our event strategy. This role places you at the forefront of Manychat’s events program, where you will be instrumental in shaping, developing, and executing events that enhance brand visibility and attract new customers. Your strategic and operational expertise will be key to the success of a wide array of events from our annual flagship online summit, which draws over 10,000 participants, to educational webinars and industry event sponsorships.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop a cohesive events strategy that aligns with Manychat’s brand vision and contributes to customer acquisition.
  • Lead the planning and roll-out of our major annual online summit, regular educational webinars, and strategic presence at industry events.
  • Oversee budgeting and resource allocation, ensuring each is delivered to the highest standard and achieves set objectives.
  • Strategize and collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch integrated event campaigns, including web presence, paid acquisition, influencer marketing, and email marketing, aimed at boosting acquisition and engagement.
  • Set and measure event objectives and success criteria, including budgeting, forecasting, ROI analysis, and work alongside the Marketing Analytics team for accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Make key decisions on technology solutions that support event delivery, with a comprehensive understanding of various event technologies.
  • Start building the events team by hiring and guiding the first team member, aiming to expand in the future, and simultaneously oversee vendor and partner relations.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 6+ years of experience in event marketing and management.
  • Background in B2B SaaS with an understanding of product-led growth tools.
  • Experience in leading large-scale online events end to end.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments to create impactful event-driven marketing campaigns.
  • In-depth knowledge of and experience with the latest event technologies and platforms.
  • A strong analytical mindset, adept at setting objectives, success criteria, and conducting ROI analysis for events.
  • Exceptional communication skills, high emotional intelligence, meticulous attention to detail, and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed to manage and attend events.
