Make is the leading visual platform for anyone to design, build, and automate anything—from tasks and workflows to apps and systems—without the need for coding skills. We are headquartered in the flourishing tech hub of Prague, Czech Republic, and our teams are spread across the USA, UK, Germany, France, Canada, India and Chile, among other locations.

We believe that design has a big impact on business and we are looking for a Product Designer to join our team. You will work on an area of Make where we explore new business opportunities for how Make integrates with different platforms and services. You will be part of a fast-moving, agile team that’s thinking big and holistically about how Make’s capabilities can be brought to life in new ways.

You’ll work to deeply understand the business environment and needs of these customers, and define the best experience for how they use Make. You’ll collaborate with a team of highly talented product managers, designers, and engineers who appreciate user experience and want to build the best products in the market.

The Make Bridge design role is a good fit for someone who is comfortable in thinking holistically from a systems perspective (how does Make fit into a larger ecosystem of SaaS products), and isn’t afraid to use design as a tool to align different perspectives and ideas. We’re looking for someone who is fascinated by understanding how people think and create with our platform, and then wants to be hands-on and build out the design vision and approach, working closely with the teams. Make is a visually focused tool and we prefer candidates who care about UI and the details of every pixel.

What we are looking for:

  • A designer who believes that working in diverse teams and with complex systems brings out even more creativity
  • Hands-on experience with design at all stages, from early discovery to final hand-off (e.g. wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, UI assets)
  • Passionate about problem solving and understanding complex systems
  • Desire to innovate, to come up with new ideas
  • Strong desire to base UX decisions on user research and data
  • Excellent UI skills and working with our design system (contributing component ideas)
  • Basic understanding of HTML & CSS and like to work proactively with developers
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to give & receive constructive feedback in design reviews
  • Portfolio of prior UX/UI work, with examples of shipped products including specific contributions in the design directions and decisions
  • Written and verbal fluency in English

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the design of new solution areas by understanding customer needs and thinking about how Make can integrate with other product
  • Deliver design visions and concepts that create alignment on the future direction of the Make experience
  • Deliver detailed UI screens in Figma, and collaborate with PM and Engineering to align on requirements and execution
  • Contribute to Make’s design system and language through contributing components and improvement ideas based on what’s needed for your solution area
