We’re looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager who thrives on finding solutions, aligning stakeholders, and driving impact at speed. Reporting directly to our VP of Operations, you’ll tackle Make’s most critical initiatives, ensuring we scale smartly while staying agile and innovative. If you’re a quick thinker, proactive problem-solver, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to meet you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Initiatives: Drive and execute company-wide programs, such as implementing an OKR framework or rethinking fiscal planning processes.
  • Project Management: Independently lead cross-functional initiatives, managing (senior) stakeholders and delivering outcomes that matter.
  • Market Insights: Conduct research to identify trends, best practices, and opportunities that inform strategic decisions.
  • External Collaboration: Engage with consultants, agencies, and subject matter experts to bring in specialised knowledge and solutions.
  • Speedboat: Jump in wherever you’re needed, turning tricky problems into strategic wins.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-5 years in top tier consulting or other high-impact roles with a proven track record of success.
  • Degree: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or MBA from a leading institution.
  • Skillset:
    • Strong project management and organisational skills.
    • Exceptional communication abilities, including the capacity to simplify complex topics and build compelling presentations.
    • Ability to moderate workshops and lead discussions toward actionable outcomes.
    • Proficiency in working with senior executives and delicately aligning diverse stakeholders.
  • Mindset:
    • Hungry: Curious, ambitious, and driven to create impact.
    • Adaptability: Thrive in dynamic environments and pivot quickly when priorities shift.
  • Execution: Pragmatic and action-oriented, with a "get-it-done" attitude.
